On this site you can find all the details about our very own Soap Box Derby races, how to become a racer and more. —— We have open track practice sessions where you can come get introduced to the sport, meet all the volunteers, and start your racing fun. We hold these events every Wednesday evening starting April 9, 2025. Come see us at our display at the World of Wheels Auto Show in Downtown Omaha March 7-9. ——— We have a rally race on May 17th and 18th that is open to anyone in the country who wants to race at our track. ——— The big Omaha area championship race which sends the winners to the World Championships in Akron, Ohio takes place on June 21, 2025. This race only has participants from Omaha and the surrounding area per our race boundary. ———————————————————————————————————- Please note the following concerning Omaha Nebraska Local and Rallies: Rally dates for 2025 May 17th May 18th September 27th September 28th Local date for 2025 June 21st 1. We will be using a Wheel Bank (Local Race City Owned) 2. Wheels will be randomly selected 3. 0-4-0 wheel swap
